City officials walked away from a meeting with officials from the Troy Savings Bank Wednesday believing it would only be a short matter of time before the bank's music hall is reopen.
City Manager Steven Dworsky said city and bank officials met to discuss the fate of the hall, renowned for its acoustics. Dworsky said he left the meeting feeling optimistic that the hall could be opened without too much renovation to the building and too much time lost.
"It won't take that much to get it open," he said. "We talked about long- range goals for the hall as well as the short-range problems."
